VEKA invests in India: In February 2025, German uPVC manufacturer VEKA acquired 100% ownership of its joint venture, NCL Veka, in India. The company announced plans to invest up to Rs 100 crore over six years to fuel innovation and expand its presence in India’s building materials industry.
Apollo Pipes enters doors and windows segment: Also in July 2025, Apollo Pipes announced its entry into the uPVC doors and windows market.
Expansion in Hyderabad: In January 2024, a report noted new entrants in India’s uPVC market, including a new manufacturing unit set up by an unnamed firm in Hyderabad.

Fenesta winter products: In August 2025, Fenesta launched new high-tech uPVC windows and doors designed for winter conditions, alongside an anti-noise campaign.
Sayyas launches new window system: China-based company Sayyas unveiled new uPVC window systems, the DCsty 105 and Warmcore 115 series, in September 2024. The company also introduced an intelligent, automated production line.
Sustainable manufacturing: An industry expert highlighted recent innovations in uPVC production, such as energy-efficient extrusion technologies and advanced recycling systems, which are helping to reduce carbon emissions.
